"Battle Course"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, where it plays in the Battle courses Cookie Land, Block City, Nintendo GameCube, and Pipe Plaza, as well as in Luigi's Mansion and Tilt-a-Kart in Shine Thief.

Mario Kart: Double Dash!![edit]

Mario Kart: Double Dash!! marks the first appearance of "Battle Course".

In Shine Thief, whenever the Shine Sprite is dropped on the course, a simple arrangement of "Battle Course" lacking the melody plays.
