It is easy to accidentally fall from the stage, due to the blocks on the sides of the bridges being easily knocked off the course on contact. It is longer than the first, however, and features more sudden drop offs and sharp turns. It also features a zipper at the end of the course, which may save time but is difficult to use, since it is placed right after a curve at the edge of the track. Just after the zipper there is a jump line with a ? Panel behind. The Feather is of use at this course again: It can help the player to jump over the gap soon after the start, while others would normally take the regular track around (where the two ? Panels are).
Mario Kart: Super Circuit
The course reappeared in Mario Kart: Super Circuit, and is the third track in the Extra Flower Cup. It uses the background from Boo Lake. The Dash Panel, Ramp in front of the last Item Box and the legs to hold up the track were removed.
Mario Kart Wii
Ghost Valley 2 returns in Mario Kart Wii as the third track of the Shell Cup. Since there are no Feathers in the game, a ramp was placed at the shortcut, although light and middleweights do not need a boost to get across. In Time Trials the blocks on the side do not fall off when the player bumps into them, instead a few blocks fall off at the beginning of the race and as the race progresses. A silhouette of what appears to be Luigi's Mansion can be seen in the background. This is the shortest course in the game.
