Sydney Sprint is a race course featured in Mario Kart Tour. It is named after and inspired by Sydney, Australia, and made its debut in the Sydney Tour, the city's namesake tour. This course is a favorite of Fire Rosalina, Cat Toad, Mario (Racing), Baby Mario (Koala), and Shy Guy (Gold).
In the standard layout, the course begins within an area in Port Jackson. After a reverse curve to the right, the player enters the Sydney Opera and makes a slight left amidst a cheering crowd to a Glide Ramp across the water. After passing under the Bradfield Highway, the player will make a 270-degree loop right amidst some Luna Park fairgrounds on the left to join the highway and cross the Sydney Harbour Bridge; while on the bridge, passengers from train cars operating on the North Shore line will throw random items onto the central span. The player then takes a long winding left through downtown Sydney before reaching the finish line.
In the Sydney Tour, Sydney Sprint served as the tour's signature course. It appeared as the first course in the Toadette Cup, the third course in the Monty Mole Cup, the location of the bonus challenge in the Baby Mario Cup, and the location of the tour's Coin Rush. Its T variant appeared as the second course in the Larry Cup, the third course in the Waluigi Cup, and the location of the bonus challenge in the Bowser Jr. Cup, its R variant appeared as the second course in the Diddy Kong Cup and the first course in the Pauline Cup, and its R/T variant appeared as the third course in the Luigi Cup.
