The Zoom Buggy is a kart that appears in Mario Kart World. As its name suggests, it is a kart based on dune buggies. It appears to also be themed after a Koopa Troopa, with its yellow and green colors, its black hood vents resembling a Koopa Troopa's nostrils, Koopa-themed sponsors, and the engine cover in the back resembling its shell. The kart's tires also have shell-themed treads and hubs, and its horn sounds similar to the noise a Koopa Troopa would make. The emblem is located on the left side.
In terms of stats, the Zoom Buggy has above-average speed, average acceleration and weight, and mediocre handling. It shares its stats with the Rally Kart.
This kart is randomly used by the CPU-controlled Koopa Troopa, Cataquack, Pokey, Mario (Dune Rider), Luigi (Oasis), Daisy (Oasis), Wario (Oasis), Koopa Troopa (Pro Racer), Koopa Troopa (All-Terrain), Wario (Pro Racer), and Baby Daisy (Explorer).
