Forklifts are a type of industrial vehicle found in Mario Kart World. They mainly appear around Toad's Factory, but can also be found on the ground platforms around DK Spaceport. They are yellow and black forklifts with a Toad Manufacturing logo and a license plate that spells "TOAD". The forklifts also carry blue metal pallets and have Toads driving them, although some appear parked without a driver.
Forklifts move in set paths which loop around. When a driver comes in contact with the forklift's pallet, it rapidly raises up and throws the driver in the air. Unlike other vehicles, Super Stars have no effect on forklifts. Parked forklifts have their forks raised and do not throw drivers in the air.
