Crushers[1] are obstacles found in Toad's Factory in Mario Kart Wii and Mario Kart World. They are large red presses with glass containers, resembling gashapon machines. Crushers are situated above conveyor belts and constantly pump down, transforming Brick Blocks that are transported by the belts into Item Boxes.
The crushers in Mario Kart Wii are filled with a rainbow-colored material with star patterns in it, while the crushers in Mario Kart World are filled with various items, which glow in rainbow colors.
