The Standard Kart S is a small kart that appears in Mario Kart Wii. Much like the other Standard Karts, it resembles a real life go kart with custom exhaust pipes. Its bike counterpart is the Standard Bike S, its medium counterpart is the Standard Kart M, and its large counterpart is the Standard Kart L.

The Standard Kart S features above average mini-turbo (tied with the Zip Zip and Offroader), acceleration (tied with the Offroader), and handling (tied with the Phantom), as well as decent drift (tied with the Flame Runner). Its speed (tied with the Zip Zip) and off-road (tied with the Classic Dragster) are average. However, it is rather light, as its weight matches that of the Blue Falcon. The Standard Kart S is one of only four karts in the game with a weight stat that is less than thirty, the others being the Booster Seat, Cheep Charger, and Blue Falcon.
