"Mushroom Gorge"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Kart Wii, where it plays in the race course of the same name.

Mario Kart Wii marks the first appearance of "Mushroom Gorge." It is also included in the official Mario Kart Wii Platinum Soundtrack album.

Mario Kart 7[edit]

In Mario Kart 7, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" plays in Wii Mushroom Gorge, likewise titled "Wii Mushroom Gorge" in the Nintendo Music app. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

In Mario Kart Tour, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" plays in Wii Mushroom Gorge, which was first added in the 2022 Mii Tour.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass, an arrangement of "Mushroom Gorge" plays in Wii Mushroom Gorge, likewise titled "Wii Mushroom Gorge" in the Nintendo Music app. The intro melody has been tweaked, the timing of background instruments has been changed, and the backing guitar is notably louder, but it is otherwise near identical to the original. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

In Mario Kart World, a flamenco arrangement of "Mushroom Gorge" can play in Free Roam and during routes in VS Race.

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" can play in the Mario Circuit stage. It is simply titled "Mushroom Gorge" in the game's sound test.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Mario Kart-series stage. It is titled "Mushroom Gorge - Mario Kart Wii" in the game's sound test.
