"Mushroom Gorge",[1] also known as "Wii Mushroom Gorge",[2] is a musical theme in Mario Kart Wii, where it plays in the race course of the same name.

Mario Kart Wii[edit]

Mario Kart Wii marks the first appearance of "Mushroom Gorge". It is also included in the official Mario Kart Wii Platinum Soundtrack album.

Mario Kart 7[edit]

In Mario Kart 7, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" plays in Wii Mushroom Gorge. It is likewise titled "Wii Mushroom Gorge" in the Nintendo Music app. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

Mario Kart Tour[edit]

In Mario Kart Tour, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" plays in Wii Mushroom Gorge, which was first added in the 2022 Mii Tour.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]

In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of Wave 2 of the Booster Course Pass, an arrangement of "Mushroom Gorge" plays in Wii Mushroom Gorge. It is likewise titled "Wii Mushroom Gorge" in the Nintendo Music app. In a similar vein to "Wii Grumble Volcano", "3DS DK Jungle", "Madrid Drive (Museum)", and "Madrid Drive (Stadium)", this arrangement is nearly identical to the original version, save for the intro melody being tweaked, the timing of background instruments being changed, the addition of a reverb effect, and different mixing, which notably makes the backing guitar louder and adjusts the volume of certain sections of the theme. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" can play in the Mario Circuit stage. It is simply titled "Mushroom Gorge" in the game's sound test.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate[edit]

In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, the original version of "Mushroom Gorge" can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Mario Kart-series stage. It is titled "Mushroom Gorge - Mario Kart Wii" in the game's sound test.
