"Rescuing Princess Peach"[1] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario World, where it plays during the ending cutscene when Mario (or Luigi) rescues and reunites with Princess Peach.

Super Mario World marks the first appearance of "Rescuing Princess Peach", and it returns in the port of the game included in Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World for the same purpose. It is also included in the official albums Super Mario World and Happy! Mario 20th - Super Mario Sound Collection.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, an arrangement of "Rescuing Princess Peach" plays for the same purpose as in the original game.

Super Mario Maker / Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS[edit]

In Super Mario Maker and the Nintendo 3DS port, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, the original version of "Rescuing Princess Peach" plays during the ending cutscene of the 100 Mario Challenge if the final level completed is in the Super Mario World game style.
