"Jump-dai de tonda toki"[1] is a recurring sound effect from Super Mario World, which plays when the player jumps on a Jumping Board, a Jump Block, or a Spring Platform, or when a Chargin' Chuck jumps.

Super Mario World marks the first appearance of "Jump-dai de tonda toki".

Super Mario All-Stars[edit]

In Super Mario All-Stars, the sound plays when jumping on a trampoline in Super Mario Bros. and Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, as well as on a Jump Block in Super Mario Bros. 3.

Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island[edit]

In Super Mario World 2: Yoshi's Island, an arrangement of "Jump-dai de tonda toki" plays when the player jumps on a Spring Ball.

Super Mario Maker series[edit]

Super Mario Maker, its Nintendo 3DS port, and Super Mario Maker 2 reuses "Jump-dai de tonda toki" for when a Trampoline or Note Block is used in the Super Mario World game style. Super Mario Maker 2 also reuses the Super Mario 3D World arrangement when the player performs a high jump on a Trampoline or Hop-Chops in the Super Mario 3D World game style.
