"Forest of Illusion (Map Screen)"[1] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario World, where it plays during the overworld map of the Forest of Illusion.

Super Mario World marks the first appearance of "Forest of Illusion (Map Screen)." It returns for the same purpose in the port of the game included in Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World. It is also included in the official soundtrack album of the same name.
The Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario World, Super Mario World: Super Mario Advance 2, contains its own arrangement of "Forest of Illusion (Map Screen)," which plays for the same purpose as in the original game.
Super Mario Maker 2[edit]
In Super Mario Maker 2, the original version of "Forest of Illusion (Map Screen)" plays forest-themed worlds in the World Maker.
Super Mario World: Mario to Yoshi no Bōken Land[edit]
In Super Mario World: Mario to Yoshi no Bōken Land, the original version of "Forest of Illusion (Map Screen)" plays in the scene showcasing a map of the Forest of Illusion, and the scene where Mario, Luigi, and the Yoshis are surrounded by trees with sinister faces.
