"GCN DK Mountain"[1] is a musical theme from Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, where it serves as the background music for both DK Mountain and Dino Dino Jungle. It includes a brief arrangement of the stage theme in Donkey Kong Jr.

Arrangements[edit]
Mario Kart 7[edit]
GCN Dino Dino Jungle returns as the second race of the Lightning Cup in Mario Kart 7, with it receiving a new arrangement of "DK Mountain." It is very similar to the original, but with slightly different instrumentation, essentially playing as a remastered version of the original. There is also a frontrunning variation that plays while in first place, which adds a percussion beat to the song.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]
GCN DK Mountain returns in Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as part of the sixth wave of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe - Booster Course Pass, being the second race of the Acorn Cup, along with a new arrangement of "GCN DK Mountain." This rendition is similar to the original, but now features a flute in addition to the percussion instruments.

Mario Kart World[edit]
Dino Dino Jungle returns in Mario Kart World, and has a new arrangement of "GCN DK Mountain." This version is more intense, featuring flutes, electric guitars, and a drum kit.
