"Bowser Castle"[2] is a musical theme composed by Minako Hamano for Mario Kart: Super Circuit, where it plays in all Bowser Castle courses: Bowser Castle 1, Bowser Castle 2, Bowser Castle 3, and Bowser Castle 4. The first half of the theme is an arrangement of "Bowser's Theme" from Super Mario 64, but it is much faster and adds a chugging bassline. The second half of the theme features a unique melody.

Mario Kart: Super Circuit[edit]

Mario Kart: Super Circuit marks the first appearance of "Bowser Castle". The source-quality version of the theme is included in the official album Nintendo Sound Selection Vol.2: Loud Music.

Mario Kart DS[edit]

In Mario Kart DS, an arrangement of "Bowser Castle" arranged by Shinobu Tanaka plays in GBA Bowser Castle 2.

Mario Kart 7[edit]

In Mario Kart 7, an arrangement of "Bowser Castle" plays in GBA Bowser Castle 1. It is likewise titled "GBA Bowser Castle 1" in the Nintendo Music app. A looping drum set beat is added to the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.
