"Treetop Rock,"[1][2] also known as "THE EWOK LEVEL,"[3] is a musical theme composed by Eveline Novakovic for Donkey Kong Country, where it plays in the treetop levels Tree Top Town and Rope Bridge Rumble.
Arrangements[edit]
Donkey Kong Country (Game Boy Color)[edit]
In the Game Boy Color remake of Donkey Kong Country, a chiptune arrangement of "Treetop Rock" plays in the same levels as in the original game.
Donkey Kong Country (Game Boy Advance)[edit]
In the remake for the Game Boy Advance, an arrangement of "Treetop Rock" plays in the same levels as the original game; unlike most themes in the remake, which are largely lower-quality recreations of the SNES versions, "Treetop Rock" is significantly rearranged and has noticeably different instrumentation.
Donkey Kong Country Returns[edit]
In Donkey Kong Country Returns, its Nintendo 3DS port, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and its Nintendo Switch port, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, an arrangement of "Treetop Rock," titled "Tree Top Rock Returns" in the sound gallery, plays during various levels in the Forest world, including Flutter Flyaway, Longshot Launch, and Muncher Marathon. In the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Switch ports, it also plays in Topsy Turvy in the Cloud world. An excerpt of this arrangement appears in WarioWare: Get It Together!, where it plays in the second level of the Donkey Kong Country Returns microgame.
