"Voices of the Temple,"[1][2] also known as "THE TEMPLE,"[3] is a musical theme composed by Eveline Novakovic for Donkey Kong Country, where it plays in the temple levels Millstone Mayhem and Temple Tempest.
Arrangements[edit]
Donkey Kong Land[edit]
In Donkey Kong Land, a more energetic, fast-paced chiptune arrangement of "Voices of the Temple" plays in the temple levels Tricky Temple, Snake Charmer's Challenge, and Swirlwind Storm. This arrangement returns in the Game Boy Color remake of Donkey Kong Country, where it plays in the same levels as in the original game.
Donkey Kong Country series[edit]
Donkey Kong Country (Game Boy Advance)[edit]
In the Game Boy Advance remake of Donkey Kong Country, an arrangement of "Voices of the Temple" plays in the same levels as in the original game.
Donkey Kong Country Returns[edit]
In Donkey Kong Country Returns, its Nintendo 3DS port, Donkey Kong Country Returns 3D, and its Nintendo Switch port, Donkey Kong Country Returns HD, an arrangement of "Voices of the Temple," titled "Voices of the Temple Returns" in the sound gallery, plays during various levels in the Ruins world, including Button Bash, Itty Bitty Biters, and Temple Topple.
