History[edit]

Super Mario Galaxy[edit]

Super Mario Galaxy marks the first appearance of "Peach's Castle Stolen". It is also included in the official Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album.

An arrangement of "Peach's Castle Stolen" plays in Bowser's Star Reactor when the player runs up the staircase while it is being destroyed by Bowser. It is titled "The Big Staircase" in the Nintendo Music app and the official Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack album.

Both "Peach's Castle Stolen" and "The Big Staircase" return in the Nintendo Switch ports, Super Mario 3D All-Stars and Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, for the same purposes.
