Explosive cannons are obstacles in Super Mario Galaxy and its Nintendo Switch. They are large cannon variants that charge up while glowing red for several seconds before shooting out small explosions. If Mario (or Luigi) is standing directly over the opening when it fires, he will take damage and be launched high forward. They look similar to Bill Blasters and Chomp boxes from the same game. Only four of them appear in the game on the Saucer Planet of Good Egg Galaxy, only accessible during "King Kaliente's Battle Fleet".
