The Mario Galaxy Orchestra, the orchestra for both Super Mario Galaxy games

The Mario Galaxy Orchestra is a session orchestra that performs the music for Super Mario Galaxy, Super Mario Galaxy 2, and its Nintendo Switch ports. Super Mario Galaxy was the first Super Mario game to feature live-recorded music, and both it and its sequel feature various symphonic and big band arrangements performed by this orchestra.

Some members of the orchestra have also played in the similar ensemble, the Mario 3D World Big Band, which performed for the 2013 game Super Mario 3D World.
