"Egg Planet"[1][2] is a musical theme composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Galaxy, where it plays in Good Egg Galaxy. It is also heard during the ending of the game when Mario and Princess Peach are whisked away with the final Grand Star. Its name comes from the Japanese name for the Good Egg Galaxy, "Egg Planet Galaxy."

In Mario Kart Wii, an arranged excerpt of "Egg Planet" is incorporated in the theme that plays in the game's iteration of Rainbow Road. This arrangement returns in Mario Kart Tour, where it plays in the same race course.

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe features a new arrangement of Wii Rainbow Road's theme, including the "Egg Planet" section. It was added alongside Wii Rainbow Road in Wave 6 of the Mario Kart 8 Deluxe – Booster Course Pass. It was also featured as the background music for the wave's reveal trailer.[3]

In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Egg Planet" can play in Free Roam and during routes in Grand Prix or VS Race.

Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games

In the Wii version of Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Winter Games, an arrangement of "Egg Planet" plays in the Dream Ski Jumping events, which takes place in Good Egg Galaxy. This arrangement returns in Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games.

Super Mario Galaxy 2

In Super Mario Galaxy 2, an arrangement of "Egg Planet," titled "Green Star" in the game's official soundtrack, plays in World 1's map after Green Star comets appear.

Fortune Street

In Fortune Street, an arrangement of "Egg Planet" plays in the Good Egg Galaxy board.

In Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, an arrangement of "Egg Planet" composed by Nobuko Toda can play in the Mario Galaxy stage. This arrangement also incorporates arrangements of the first six notes of "Ground BGM," "Underground BGM," "Invincibility BGM," and "Timer Warning" from Super Mario Bros. This arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, now titled "Egg Planet (Remix)," where it can play in any Super Smash Bros.-series and Super Mario-series stage.
