On October 1, 2025, to coincide with the launch of Super Mario Galaxy + Super Mario Galaxy 2, "Good Night," a track from that release of the game, was added. Prior to this addition, the tracklist was exactly the same as that of the Super Mario Galaxy Original Soundtrack. A redirect to this soundtrack representing the Nintendo Switch version of the game was also added to the "Search" screen at the same time.

Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Bros. 3, Super Mario World, Super Mario 64, Super Mario Galaxy 2, Super Mario Odyssey, New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe, and Super Mario Bros. Wonder are listed as related games.

Notes[edit]

  • The track "Good Night (From the Nintendo Switch version)" has the shortest time between its release on Nintendo Music and its original appearance in a game, with Super Mario Galaxy for Nintendo Switch releasing just a day later worldwide after the track's addition on Nintendo Music.
    • This trait is shared with "Twins (From the Nintendo Switch version)" and "Special Someone (From the Nintendo Switch version)" from Super Mario Galaxy 2.
