Phil Board in the Bubble Blast Galaxy
Phil Board is a character in Super Mario Galaxy. He is a sentient talking sign who teaches Mario (or Luigi) how to control and move on a bubble. Phil Board first appears in the Bubble Breeze Galaxy's first area, near a bubble dispenser. When the player approaches the bubble dispenser, Phil Board starts talking to them. Here, he teaches the player how to control a bubble for the first time. He later reappears on the Bubble Blast Galaxy's starting planet. Here, unlike in his previous appearance, he does not talk directly to the player; instead, the player must talk to him. Here, he reminds the player how to use the bubble and also warns them about the electric rails ahead.
