Super Smash Bros. Melee: Smashing...Live! was a live orchestral concert on August 27, 2002, at the Tokyo Bunka Kaikan in Tokyo, Japan.[1] It featured arrangement of various songs from Super Smash Bros. Melee played by the New Japan Philharmonic conducted by Taizo Takemoto.
An album featuring songs from the live performance, likewise titled Super Smash Bros. Melee: Smashing...Live!, was released on October 21, 2002,[2] in Japan; in January 2003 in the United States,[1] where it was included in the January 2003 volume of Nintendo Power; and in 2004 in the United Kingdom, where it was included in a 2004 issue of Nintendo Official Magazine UK.[3] It was published by Enterbrain,[2] Nintendo of America,[1] and Nintendo of Europe,[3] respectively.
