The Nintendo Fusion Tour was a touring event featuring rock music and video games that ran annually from 2003 to 2006. It was sponsored by Nintendo and various other companies, and was produced by Clear Channel Entertainment and booked by The Agency Group.[1] It featured various titles and demos on the Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Wii, and Nintendo DS. Many of the bands who received early exposure from the tour went on to achieve widespread recognition, including Evanescence, Story of the Year, Fall Out Boy, Panic! at the Disco, Finger Eleven, Anberlin, and My Chemical Romance. The tour had 25-45 stops and initially took place in September and October, but later lasted into November as it increased in scope and fan turnout from year to year.[2] While at least one year had a stop in Toronto, Canada,[1] the tour was otherwise limited to the United States of America.[3]
