The Mario Kart Jewel Circuit Challenge was a promotional campaign held by Nintendo in collaboration with the Jewel Changi Airport in Singapore from April 25 through July 24, 2025. The challenge was a stamp rally in which participants had to visit a number of Mario Kart–themed displays throughout the Jewel Changi Airport complex in order to collect six unique stamps on a designated stamp rally card. Participants could redeem a completed card for a Mario Kart sticker pack, each depicting one character and three items selected at random. There were a total of four character and five item designs obtainable as part of these sticker packs. The route followed by participants within the complex in pursuit of completing this challenge was likened by Jewel Changi Airport to a "real-life Rainbow Road".[1]

This campaign served as an advertisement for a number of limited-run promotions available within the precincts of the complex.

Stamp collection points[edit]

The following were the locations of the Mario Kart displays installed throughout the complex, which served as collection points for the stamps. Each display depicted a character, a power-up item, and a coin, and its base platform resembled a portion of SNES Rainbow Road.

Within the Jewel Changi Airport[edit]

  • The Nintendo POP-UP STORE was open at the Jewel Changi Airport complex during the same period of time as the Jewel Circuit Challenge, allowing visitors to purchase Super Mario and other Nintendo merchandise that is typically only sold in Nintendo's Tokyo stores.[2]
  • Until July 6, 2025, individuals who spent a minimum of S$80 in a single transaction at any of Jewel Changi Airport's eligible outlets were entitled to enter a guaranteed-win gashapon draw, which involved an exclusive large Tomy plush toy of a Dash Mushroomnote among a multitude of prizes.[3] From May 1 through May 12, 2025, it was possible to earn a gashapon token for a guaranteed-win draw by taking a photograph of oneself with the two Mario Kart displays at Forest Valley and sharing it on social media with the hashtag "#JewelCircuitChallenge" while tagging the airport's official account.[4]
