Notes[edit]

  • This is the second game to have a special release on Nintendo Music prior to the full game's soundtrack, following Kirby Air Riders. Unlike that game, whose special release launched before the game itself, the special release for Donkey Kong Bananza launched two months after the game's release.
    • Counting Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which was initially added with only a selection of tracks but was not distributed as a special release, this is the third game to receive a partial release.
  • The track "Emerald Rush #1" originally had the shortest time between its original appearance in a game and its release on Nintendo Music, with Special Release: Donkey Kong Bananza releasing just six days after the DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC.
    • It was later overtaken by "Good Night (From the Nintendo Switch version)" from Super Mario Galaxy, as well as "Twins (From the Nintendo Switch version)" and "Special Someone (From the Nintendo Switch version)" from Super Mario Galaxy 2. These songs were added just one day before the Nintendo Switch versions of the aforementioned games were released.
  • The track "2D Challenge Course 1 (DK Island Swing)" has a different name on Nintendo Music than in the Donkey Kong Bananza sound test; in-game, it is titled "2D Challenge Course #1".
