"Zebra Bananza",[3][4] also known as "Zebra Bananza Theme",[5] is a Latin-style song composed by Naoto Kubo for Donkey Kong Bananza, where it plays when Donkey Kong transforms into the Zebra Bananza form. It is performed in-universe by Pauline, who is voiced by Jenny Kidd. As with the other Bananza themes, the song's lyrics are almost entirely gibberish. The final verse incorporates part of the bassline of "I Like to Move It" by the American hip house musical project Reel 2 Real into the main melody.

Lyrics[edit]

The following is a transcription of the song's lyrics from an official lyric video posted on Nintendo Today! and the Donkey Kong Bananza Kanzen Kōryakubon by Nintendo DREAM.

Donkey Kong Bananza marks the first appearance of "Zebra Bananza". An instrumental version of the song plays when Pauline speaks while Donkey Kong is in the Zebra Bananza form and during the first four sections of Zebra Elder's Rehearsal Hall. It is titled "Zebra Bananza (Instrumental)" in the game's sound test. Its disc is unlocked by popping all five balloons in the rehearsal.

A medley arrangement of "DK Island Swing" from Donkey Kong Country and all five Bananza themes plays during round 15 of Emerald Rush and during the staff credits of the Donkey Kong Bananza: DK Island & Emerald Rush DLC. It is titled "Emerald Rush #4" in the game's sound test.
