The Groovetones are a music band consisting of four Fractones, each also named Groovetone, and shaped and textured like disco balls, appearing in Donkey Kong Bananza. They appear in the Groove Layer during the post-game, although they are mentioned by one Fractone on the lower floor of the Disco Hall, who says that it would make a good stage for them to perform. The Fractones had hired the Groovetones to bring back the Groove Layer's music after the Disco Hall's speaker was destroyed by the Great Harmoneel during Donkey Kong's first visit to the layer. Only one is present on the stage, while the others are hidden nearby and require Donkey Kong's help to reunite them. Before the concert, Donkey Kong has to pay Grumpy Kong 20000 gold so that he can repair the speaker.
