Voided Terrain is a type of indestructible terrain that appears in Donkey Kong Bananza. Voided Terrain is created through the use of Terravoiders and Void Stakes, and is superposed on top of regular terrain, objects, and Fractone NPCs, making everything underneath non-interactable. By destroying the Terravoider or Void Stake surrounding it, all the Voided Terrain will disappear, making everything that was underneath it interactible again. Any terrain type that is underneath Voided Terrain will not act like itself and will instead act like an indestructible, non-slippery terrain type. For example, Mud will not slow the player down, and Slippery Iron will be climbable while submerged under Voided Terrain.

Certain enemies that uses terrain as armor, such as Crockoids and Rolluskoids, can also be affected by Voided Terrain, making their terrain armor indestructible until the associated Terravoider is destroyed. Unlike Fractones, these enemies can still move while being covered with Voided Terrain.
