This is a list of the 25 Banandium Gems that can be found in the Forbidden Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza.

2		Secret in the Shaft	The ceiling past the wall of sand shuffles between Neptunite and stone; the player must break through the stone and climb up the wall to find this hidden banana.	Available from the start.
3		Soggy First Steps	At the base of the First Concrete Tower is a door to Forbidden Layer Challenge Course 1 – Slippery, Soaking Shuffle. The player must traverse a path that shuffles between dirt and water/slippery iron and reach this banana at the first large platform.	Available from the start.
4		Swift Sideways Shuffle	In Challenge Course 1, past the large wall of shuffling elements, the player must continue past the short path of shuffling elements to find this banana at the end.	Available from the start.
5		No Swimming, No Slipping	In Challenge Course 1 past the large wall on top of the Neptunite structure before Banana #4.	Available from the start.
6		Battle: Nighty Night, Nemesis	On a floating island to the side of the First Concrete Tower is a portal to Forbidden Layer Battle Challenge 1. The player must defeat four Illuminoids by casting shadows above them using Passage Stone.	Available from the start.
7		Pitching for Passage	On the large floating island between the First and Second Concrete Towers.	Available from the start.
8		Past the Shuffling Ceiling	Next to Banana #7 is a square that shuffles between stone and concrete. In the area below this square is an obstacle course with a ceiling that shuffles between wire mesh and slippery Neptunite. The player must traverse this course and reach this Banana at the very end. 9		Under, Up, and Inside	The player must go under the Second Concrete Tower and up the hole on the tower's underside. This banana appears inside a block that shuffles between gold and slippery Neptunite.	Available from the start.
10		Battle: Forged Path Upward	To the side of the Second Concrete Tower is a portal to Forbidden Layer Battle Challenge 2. Within a throw zone, the player must defeat three Buzzoids.	Available from the start.
11		Passage to the Lonely Island	On a floating island to the side of the Third Concrete Tower.	Available from the start.
12		Perilous Passage	Between the Third Concrete Tower and the Go-No-Further Gate is a set of four revolving triangular platforms. On one of the platforms is a VoidCo Bongo Blaster, and on another is this Banana.	Available from the start.
13		Cranky's Forbidden Rant	The player must talk to Cranky Kong, located on a floating island high above the throw zone in front of the Third Concrete Tower.	Available from the start.
14		Halfway Shuffled	On a large pentagon-shaped Concrete structure before the Go-No-Further Gate is a door to Forbidden Layer Challenge Course 2 – Lost in the Shuffle. The player must traverse a two-dimensional course filled with thorns, Boom Rock, and Stompoids to reach this Banana, located before the minecart.	Available from the start.
15		Balloons in the Shuffle	In Challenge Course 2, the player must pop five balloons in the minecart section to reveal this Banana at the end.	Available from the start.
16		Survived the Shuffle	At the end of Challenge Course 2.	Available from the start.
17		Unwelcome at Go-No-Further Gate!	At the start of Go-No-Further Gate.	Available from the start.
18		Battle: Shuffling Walls	To the left of the Go-No-Further Gate checkpoint, the player must pay the Constructone 600 gold to access Forbidden Layer Battle Challenge 3. The player must defeat three Crockoids inside a maze of walls that shuffle between mud and ice.	Available from the start.
19		Forbidden Smashin' Stats	Before the giant wall of concrete at Go-No-Further Gate, the player must talk to Smashintone after destroying 30000 m3 of Passage Stone.	Available from the start.
20		Passage through Lava	To the right of the Go-No-Further Gate checkpoint is a large hole. At the bottom, the player must traverse through a maze of lava using Passage Stone to reach this Banana.	Available from the start.
21		Shuffling Ascent	To the right of the giant wall of concrete at Go-No-Further Gate, the player must pay the Constructone 1000 gold to access Forbidden Layer Challenge Course 3 – Ostrich Bananza: Free Climbing, only accessible with the Ostrich Bananza. The player must alternate between climbing up walls that shuffle between concrete and electrified iron to find banana at the top of this section.	Available from the start.
22		Behind the Shuffle	In the second section of Challenge Course 3, the player must traverse platforms that shuffle between fresh snow and lava/bouncy rubber. This Banana appears behind a wall of Fresh Snow.	Available from the start.
23		Atop the Shuffle	In the third section of Challenge Course 3, the player must alternate between climbing up a tall concrete wall and a wall of mud and slippery Neptunite. This Banana appears at the very top of the tower.	Available from the start.
24		A Gift from Grumpy	The player must talk to Grumpy Kong, located on the highest platform beyond King K. Rool's Escape.	Available after defeating King K. Rool in New Donk City.
25		Forbidden Chip Exchange	The player must exchange Banandium Chips for a Gem.	Available from the start.
