This is a list of the 38 Banandium Gems that can be found in the Hilltop Layer of Donkey Kong Bananza.

2		Cave-Dwelling Treasure	To the right of Battle Challenge 1, inside a cave on the side of a large banana-shaped structure, the player must follow burrowing Fractones past many concrete walls to find this Banana.	Available from the start.
3		The Hilltop Growtone	On a platform of mud near Fractone Village. The player must feed Growtone gold until it produces a Banandium Gem.	Available after defeating King K. Rool in New Donk City.
4		The Hungry Hilltop Growtone	The player must feed Growtone gold until it produces a second Banandium Gem.	Available after defeating King K. Rool in New Donk City.
5		The Sated Hilltop Growtone	The player must feed Growtone until it produces its final Banandium Gem. A total of 6000 gold must be fed.	Available after defeating King K. Rool in New Donk City.
6		Battle: Dig, Dig, Dig on Down	To the right of the Warp Gong is a portal to Hilltop Layer Battle Challenge 1. The player must make their way down a two-dimensional maze of dirt and stone to defeat a concrete Crockoid.	Available from the start.
7		The Shifty Path under the Village	Behind a stone wall below the platform towards Challenge Course 1. The player must use Shifty Platforms to reach this Banana.	Available from the start.
8		A Shifty Path Forward	Between the Style Shop and the Chip Exchange is a door to Hilltop Layer Challenge Course 1 – Shifty Platform Road. The player must traverse dirt platforms and utilize the Shifty Platforms to reach this banana.	Available from the start.
9		An Out-of-the-Way Room	In Challenge Course 1, to the left of the platform after Banana #8 is a Shifty Platform. This banana is located at the bottom of this platform, behind a wall of thorns.	Available from the start.
10		Make-Your-Own Platforms	In Challenge Course 1, the player must traverse several Shifty Platforms while avoiding thorns to reach this Banana at the very end.	Available from the start.
11		Hilltop Fragmentone Recovery	Below the Warp Gong, inside a cave covered by Gold roots, the player can find Fragmentone. The player must guide at least one Fragment back to Fragmentone.	Available from the start.
12		Hilltop Fragmentone Restoration	The player must guide all three Fragments back to Fragmentone.	Available from the start.
13		Battle: Spike-Spout Scrap	Hidden in an alcove between Fractone Village and Banana #30 is a portal to Hilltop Layer Battle Challenge 2. The player must defeat three stone Crockoids on a teetering Neptunite platform with a VoidCo Spike-Ball Spitter in its middle.	Available from the start.
14		Hilltop Hide-and-Seek	In the direction pointed by the stone banana structure of the Stuff Shop, the player can find Seekertone. The player must find four Hiddentones in the surrounding concrete and stone structure.	Available from the start.
15		Hilltop Smashin' Stats	The player must talk to Smashintone after destroying 20000 m3 of stone.	Available from the start.
16		Bloomed in the Hilltop Layer	To the side of the Construction Site, the player can find Bloomintone. The player must make him bloom by destroying the stone blocking him from light.	Available from the start.
17		Thorny-Hill Finish Line	On the wall opposite of the Construction Site checkpoint is a door to Hilltop Layer Challenge Course 2 – Thorny Hill Speed Surf. The player must use a metal ball from an Antickoid to Turf Surf along an obstacle course of thorns and spiked neptunite and reach the goal.	Available from the start.
18		Thorny-Hill Buzzer Beater	In Challenge Course 2, the player must reach the goal with at least 20 seconds remaining on the clock.	Available from the start.
19		Thorny-Hill Hideaway	In Challenge Course 2, behind a wall of Slippery Neptunite at the goal.	Available from the start.
20		Shifty Smash: Break the Canopy	In an alcove beneath the banana structures of Peel Peak is a Shifty Smash challenge, where the player must destroy a disc of Shifty Stone while avoiding Spike Balls.	Available from the start.
21		Battle: Three-Tiered Tussle	In an alcove to the left of Peel Peak is a portal to Hilltop Layer Battle Challenge 3. The player must defeat three Crockoids while using Chunk Jumps to reach the higher enemies.	Available from the start.
22		Peeled from Peel Peak	Within Voided terrain at the top of the peak.	Available after destroying the Terravoider on Peel Peak.
23		The Skies over Peel Peak	On a Gloo Gum platform high above the banana-stem structure of Peel Peak.	Available from the start.
24		Bananas All the Way Down	Behind a concrete wall at the tip of the middle banana structure of Peel Peak.	Available from the start.
25		Shifty Smash: The Rotating Ring	Hidden in an alcove near the tip of the right banana structure of Peel Peak is a Shifty Smash challenge, where the player must destroy enough Shifty Stone on a revolving ring of Shifty Stone and concrete.	Available from the start.
26		Against the Oncoming Tide	At the tip of the left banana structure of Peel Peak is a door to Hilltop Layer Challenge Course 3 – Spiked-Tide Slope. The player must traverse the slope to reach this Banana at the midpoint.	Available from the start.
27		Against the Winding Tide	In Challenge Course 3, the player must continue traversing up a winding path to reach the Banana at the very end.	Available from the start.
28		Amidst the Hidden Tide	In Challenge Course 3, the player must go under the Neptunite bridge in front of Banana #27 and traverse along the wire mesh to reach this Banana at the end.	Available from the start.
29		The Flying Banana	At the bottom of a floating platform with a VoidCo Spike-Ball Spitter on it.	Available from the start.
30		Gold-Dipped Banana	The player must destroy the layer of concrete surrounded by VoidCo Spike-Ball Spitters and Hand Slap dirt pillars to find this Banana surrounded in Gold.	Available from the start.
31		Hilltop Quiz Master	On the middle of the large Banana-shaped stone structure where Rambi is standing, the player can find Quiztone. The player must correctly answer all of his questions.	Available from the start.
32		Cranky's Hilltop Rant	The player must talk to Cranky Kong, located on a Gloo Gum platform near the stone Banana structure where Rambi is standing.	Available from the start.
33		Shifty Smash: Downhill Run	In an alcove near the banana structure occupied by Rambi and Quiztone is a Shifty Smash challenge, where the player must Turf Surf to reach a cube of Shifty Stone in time.	Available from the start.
34		Tunneling through the Pit	On a ledge of the hole near the Construction Site, behind a concrete wall.	Available after paying Constructone 2999 gold.
35		Treasured Memories	At the bottom of the Undertone Canal is a door to Hilltop Layer Challenge Course 4 – Nostalgia Country, a two-dimensional course that pays homage to Donkey Kong Country. This banana is located up the wall of the course's starting area, on the ceiling of DK's Tree House.	Available after paying Constructone 2999 Gold.
36		Over the Valley	At the midpoint of Challenge Course 4, past the Barrel Cannons.	Available after paying Constructone 2999 Gold.
37		Hijinxs in the Jungle	At the end of Challenge Course 4.	Available after paying Constructone 2999 Gold.
38		Hilltop Chip Exchange	The player must exchange Banandium Chips for a Gem.	Available from the start.
