Fossil Maps are items in Donkey Kong Bananza that reveal the location of a random fossil depending on the type of map. They can be found in treasure chests or purchased at the Stuff Shop with gold, increasing in price every time one is bought. There are three types of Fossil Maps, where the other two are called a Rare Fossil Map and an Extra-Rare Fossil Map. After all fossils in the layer have been mapped or acquired, Fossil Maps can no longer be purchased or found in that layer. A region of the Northern Kremisphere is depicted on the map.
