Rolluskoids are ammonoid enemies in Donkey Kong Bananza that first appear in the Freezer Layer. They are golden creatures deployed by Void Company that appear encased in a large ball, which can be comprised of varying terrain. When a Rulluskoid spots Donkey Kong, it will briefly roll in place before launching itself forward at high speed, causing damage if it makes contact. Their attack can be stopped with a punch or a Roll Attack, which will destroy the terrain covering them. If they fail to hit Donkey Kong, Rolluskoids will become dizzy after travelling a short distance, allowing Donkey Kong to easily uncover them. Once their true form is revealed, they can be defeated with another punch or roll, sending them flying in the direction Donkey Kong hits them towards; as they move, defeated Rolluskoids will clear away most types of terrain they travel across, including ice and lava, and will travel up or down walls if launched towards them.
In the Planet Core, Rolluskoids are replaced with Armys wearing Rolluskoid shells, which have the same properties.

Naming[edit]
Their name likely comes from "roll", referring to their method of attack, and "mollusk", the phylum that ammonites belong to. The name also includes the "-oid" suffix that is shared by most enemies found in the Underground World, in reference to the Void Company which created them.
