Seals, also known as tape, are wrappings in Donkey Kong Bananza. They are tape-like objects that glow purple and have the Void Company's logo on them. Seals appear wrapped on most Terravoiders and the entrances to Challenge Courses, Battle Challenges, and Bonus Stages. The former object cannot be broken until the seal is removed, and challenge ruins cannot be entered until their seal has been destroyed. Seals are destroyed by making music in proximity to one; doing this causes the seal to turn yellow and rip apart. Donkey Kong can punch seals as they are turning yellow to break them. Once a seal is removed, it is permanently gone, regardless if the player resets terrain or closes and reopens the game.
