The ability to make music is used by Pauline in both her human form and as the Odd Rock in Donkey Kong Bananza. It is performed by holding , and will last until the button is released. As the name implies, making music causes Pauline to start singing one of many tunes. Making music can be used to shatter seals on Terravoiders, display the player's next destination and pinned location, and attract small birds. Destinations are shown through a trail of music notes. When the move is used, Donkey Kong whistles.
During Void Kong's battle on the Forbidden Layer, the ability to make music is unavailable as it would awaken the Banandium Root, leading to Void Kong getting his wish.
