Lift platforms, also known as lifts, are floating platforms in Donkey Kong Bananza. They are a metal, copper-colored square with a Gloo Gum brim and a wooden brim beneath that. The underside is rickety with a propeller that presumably keeps the lift platform flying. When a chunk is attached to the platform's Gloo Gum, the platform falls onto the ground, breaking the platform. This falling is unable to crush Donkey Kong.
Larger variants of lift platforms prominently appear in the Tempest Layer. These versions lack the wooden parts of the other variant. These variants are always bound to verticle tracks, and throwing a chunk at them instead drops the platform to the bottom of the track. Donkey Kong can perform a Hand Slap to release the chunk from the platform, sending it upward to the top of the track.
The lift platforms near the entrance to the Undertone Canal in the Hilltop Layer hold crates and are said to assist with the construction conducted by Constructones.
