Rhythm Floors[1] are platforms in Super Mario Bros. Wonder. They spring upward to the beat of the music for a short period of time, with an arrow-shaped gauge on the floors showing when this will happen. When upward, the player can jump while standing on one to jump very high. The player receives a glowing blue shield around them and damages any Fiery Note Piranhas, Spike Balls, or any of Wonder Bowser's hands during this jump.
Rhythm Floors appear at the end of The Final Battle! Bowser's Rage Stage, where they make up the entire floor of the Wonder Bowser boss fight. The player must use the jump height boost of Rhythm Floors to reach the button on Wonder Bowser's chin. When Wonder Bowser's health reaches certain thresholds, the ground is split into multiple Rhythm Floors, which have either a pink or blue top. Floating Rhythm Floors, held midair by propellers, appear during the final phase of the fight.
Notes[edit]
- Attempting to gain the jump height by Spin Jumping off of a Rhythm Floor has the same result as jumping off of it normally.
