Bones[1] are platforms that appear in Super Mario Bros. 2. They function similarly to logs, being fully solid platforms that appear in rows, and come in the same two varieties as logs: long rows of bones, and stubby bones that are carried down by quicksand. The rows of bones first appear in World 2-1, whereas the bones carried by quicksand first appear in World 2-2.
