Yume Kōjō: Doki Doki Panic marks the first appearance of "Bonus Chance", and it returns in Super Mario Bros. 2 virtually unchanged. It is also included in the official albums FAMICOM 20TH ANNIVERSARY GAMEMUSIC DVD, Game Sound Museum: Mario Bros. / Super Mario USA, and Famicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music as part of a medley with "Bonus Chance: Win" and "Bonus Chance: Lose" from the same game.

In the Super Nintendo Entertainment System remake of Super Mario Bros. 2 in Super Mario All-Stars, an arrangement of "Bonus Chance" plays for the same purposes as in the original game.

In the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 2, Super Mario Advance, a slightly higher-pitched arrangement of "Bonus Chance" plays for the same purposes as in the original game.
