Donkey Kong marks the first appearance of "Round 1 and 2 Clear". Due to differing hardware, ports of the game have slightly different versions of the theme (e.g., the NES version plays the theme on a pulse wave and has it transposed to a higher key than the original).

Donkey Kong (Game Boy)[edit]

In the Game Boy title Donkey Kong, a slightly different chiptune arrangement of "Round 1 and 2 Clear", arranged by Taisuke Araki, plays when clearing a stage.
