"World Clear"[1] is a short musical fanfare composed by Koji Kondo for Super Mario Bros. 3, where it plays whenever the player restores a king to their original form or when they defeat Bowser in his castle.

Super Mario Bros. 3 marks the first appearance of "World Clear". It is also included in the official albums Super Mario World, Game Sound Museum: Super Mario Bros. 3, and Famicom Sound History Series: Mario the Music.
Super Mario All-Stars[edit]
In the SNES remake of Super Mario Bros. 3 in Super Mario All-Stars, Super Mario All-Stars + Super Mario World, and Super Mario All-Stars Limited Edition, an arrangement of "World Clear" plays for the same purposes as in the original game.

Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3[edit]
In Super Mario Advance 4: Super Mario Bros. 3, the Game Boy Advance remake of Super Mario Bros. 3, a compressed version of the Super Mario All-Stars arrangement of "World Clear" plays for the same purposes as in the original game, except defeating Bowser.

In Super Mario Maker, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Mario Maker 2, the original version of "World Clear" plays when the player finishes a castle level in the Super Mario Bros. 3 game style.
Paper Mario[edit]
In Paper Mario, a grand arrangement of World Clear is used at the beginning of the chapter complete theme before transitioning to a unique melody.
