"Course Clear"[1] is a recurring musical jingle that appears in the New Super Mario Bros. series when Mario (or another player character) completes a regular level in place of the Super Mario Bros. version. The jingle also plays when a player wins a round in the Mario Vs. Luigi mode of New Super Mario Bros.

New Super Mario Bros. Wii[edit]

An updated version of "Course Clear" appears in New Super Mario Bros. Wii, with slightly different instrumentation. This version would be reused in New Super Mario Bros. Wii Coin World, Taiko no Tatsujin, and New Super Mario Bros. 2.

New Super Mario Bros. U[edit]

Another updated version of "Course Clear" appears in New Super Mario Bros. U. This version would be reused in New Super Luigi U, Super Mario Run, and New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe as well as in the New Super Mario Bros. U style of Super Mario Maker, Super Mario Maker for Nintendo 3DS, and Super Mario Maker 2.

Fortune Street[edit]

In Fortune Street, the theme reappears in the same capacity. This arrangement closely resembles the one from New Super Mario Bros. Wii.

Super Smash Bros. Brawl[edit]

Super Smash Bros. Brawl features an arrangement of the "Ground Theme" that incorporates "Course Clear", titled "Main Theme (New Super Mario Bros.)".[2] It can play on the Delfino Plaza stage.

The arrangement returns in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, where it can be played on the Delfino Plaza and Super Mario Maker stages, as well as in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, retitled as "Main Theme - New Super Mario Bros.",[3] where it can be played on any Super Smash Bros.- and Super Mario-series stage.

SUPER MARIO BROS. 25th Anniversary Special Sound Track PRESS START Edition[edit]

In SUPER MARIO BROS. 25th Anniversary Special Sound Track PRESS START Edition, an arrangement album released only in Japan to commemorate the 25th anniversary of Super Mario Bros., the New Super Mario Bros. Wii medley track features an orchestral arrangement of "Course Clear".
