Super Mario series[edit]

Super Mario 64 / Super Mario 64 DS[edit]

Super Mario 64 marks the first appearance of "Course Clear", and it returns for the same purpose in the Nintendo DS remake, Super Mario 64 DS, and the Nintendo Switch port, Super Mario 3D All-Stars. It is also included in the official Super Mario 64 Original Soundtrack album.

Super Mario Maker[edit]

"Course Clear" returns in Super Mario Maker, where it plays when the player finishes a level with a Mario Mystery Mushroom.

In Super Mario Odyssey, an arrangement of "Course Clear", titled "You Got a Moon! 2" in the Nintendo Music app, plays whenever the player collects a Power Moon that is not associated with a main story mission. An NES chiptune-style arrangement titled "You Got a Moon! 2 - 8-Bit" plays when a Power Moon is collected in a 2D area. Both themes were arranged by Naoto Kubo and are included in the official Super Mario Odyssey Original Soundtrack album.

Collecting Power Moons from the Mushroom Kingdom that take the form of Power Stars instead plays the original version of "Course Clear". As the Mushroom Kingdom's Power Moons do not appear as Power Stars in 2D areas, "You Got a Moon! 2 - 8-Bit" plays when those Power Moons are collected.

The It's Me, Mario! Stop Motion Shorts episode "Making Melodies" features an arrangement of "Course Clear" that plays at the end of the short as Mario, Yoshi, and Toad jump high into the air with an iris out effect.
