Nintendo Ladder Game Candy is a candy-toy hybrid initially released in 2001 (although production continued in 2002) by Au'some Candies Inc. Its packaging uses promotional renders of Mario from Super Mario 64 (one of him ground-pounding and one of him sliding). Each ladder was sold individually.

Details[edit]

The object of the game is to place a candy at the top of the ladder and have it tumble to the bottom in one push. To this end, each of the candies is shaped in a way to fit onto each of the ladder rungs. Players who are not able to make the candy reach the bottom are eliminated. Characters are also printed onto each of the candies. Specifically, Luigi is printed onto the blue candy, King K. Rool is printed onto the green candy, Princess Peach is printed onto the pink candy, Donkey Kong is printed onto the yellow candy, and Mario is printed onto the red candy.
