Super Mario no Bikkuri Shageki is a target game released as furoku in the June 1987 issue of the TV-kun magazine. The game was advertised in an issue of Shōgaku Ichinensei from the same month. The game's base depicts the upper half of Bowser's body, with his mouth wide open. Like most furoku games, Super Mario no Bikkuri Shageki appears to be made almost entirely out of cardboard.

The game features a cardboard mock gun depicting Mario that players can use to shoot two cardboard pieces; these pieces depict a Goomba and what appears to be a Koopa Troopa, respectively. After doing this, a large cardboard piece depicting Mario would presumably pop up in the two pieces' place, and a cardboard car with a cardboard piece depicting Mario and Princess Peach would presumably roll out of Bowser's mouth. This car would roll down a ramp created by a cardboard piece depicting Princess Peach sitting inside of Bowser's mouth, as well as Bowser's initial expression (as completing the game results in Bowser having a dazed expression).
