Super Mario Kart: Checkered Flag is a jigsaw puzzle released by Apollo in the 1990s recommended for children ages four and up. The puzzle is part of the [ Kodomo no tame no Jigsaw Puzzle]] series. The puzzle features artwork from Super Mario Kart's Japanese manual of the game's playable characters in a field, with Mario holding a checkered flag. A Banana Peel is also depicted in the artwork. The puzzle contains the fewest pieces out of all of the Super Mario Kart-themed puzzles released by Apollo; this puzzle contains 40 pieces, while the other two contain 70 and 96, respectively. The pieces themselves measure about five centimeters. The puzzle has a product number of 08-19, and the puzzle has a finished size of 375 x 260 millimeters.
