Super Mario Kart: Checkered Flag is a jigsaw puzzle released by Apollo in the 1990s recommended for children ages four and up. The puzzle is part of the Kodomo no tame no Jigsaw Puzzle series. The puzzle features artwork from Super Mario Kart's Japanese manual of the game's playable characters in a field, with Mario holding a checkered flag. A Banana Peel is also depicted in the artwork. The puzzle contains the fewest pieces out of all of the Super Mario Kart-themed puzzles released by Apollo; this puzzle contains 40 pieces, while the other two contain 70 and 96, respectively. The pieces themselves measure about five centimeters. The puzzle has a product number of 08-19, and the puzzle has a finished size of 375 x 260 millimeters.
