New Super Mario Bros. U: Peach-hime Kyūshutsu Game is a furoku ball-in-a-maze game released in 2013. The game is themed after New Super Mario Bros. U, and was included with an issue of the Shōgaku Ichinensei magazine. Like many other furoku games, the game is made entirely out of cardboard.

Details[edit]

The object of the game was to rescue Princess Peach by successfully rolling the provided red ball through the maze. The goal is at the top of the maze, at which a flag sits. Directly before the flag is artwork of Bowser, prior to which is a ramp with artwork of various power-ups. The game also features various other paths and obstacles for the ball to roll across. These include a bridge with artwork of Brick Blocks, a tunnel themed after a Warp Pipe, a ramp with holes in it themed after a Mushroom Platform, and various pockets the ball can land in. These pockets have levers that launch the ball upward when pressed.[2]
