Mario Kart 8 Dokodemo Game Collection is a series of capsule games released in 2014 by Epoch. Like New Super Mario Bros. U Dokodemo Game Collection, the games appear to have been available from capsule machines themed after the series. The games were made to promote Mario Kart 8.

Games

Most games in the collection are target games, in which the goal is to hit a ball into a target or knock down a series of targets. However, two of the games are instead ball-in-a-maze puzzles, in which a ball must be guided through a maze without falling through holes in the plastic. Each type of game has a red and blue variant, with each variant featuring distinct artwork from Mario Kart 8.

The object of the game is to launch the provided ball onto the track (referred to on a promotional flyer as the "target point") by using the flippers.

The game is intended to be played with two players. The game features a button on either side of the playing field. The game features a button on either side of the playing field. The button on the left is blue and the button on the right is red. Additionally, directly in front of each button is a small plastic Warp Pipe. The object of the game is for one player to launch their provided ball into the Warp Pipe before the other player.
ターグットショット(レッド) Tāgutto Shotto (Red)	Target Shot (Red)	The game features artwork originating in Mario Kart 8 of Mario in his Standard Kart, in addition to artwork of Lakitu.	The game features a red spring-loaded lever at the bottom of the playing field, in addition to three blue targets at the top of the playing field. Plastic ramps leading back to the launcher are positioned on either side of the playing field to prevent the ball from falling out of the playing field. The object of the game is to knock down all three of the blue targets with the provided ball.
ターグットショット(ブレー) Tāgutto Shotto (Blue)	Target Shot (Blue)	The game features artwork originating in Mario Kart 8 of Bowser in the Tanooki Kart.	The game features an inverted version of the color scheme of Target Shot (Red). The game features a blue spring-loaded launcher at the bottom of the playing field, as well as three red switches at the top of the playing field. Like Target Shot (Red), the game also features two ramps leading back down to the launcher so that the ball will not fall out of the playing field. The object of the game is to knock down all three of the red targets with the provided ball.

The game features holes of varying sizes on the game's plastic cover. Artwork of Mario is in the center of the playing field, with artwork of various items surrounding him. The object of the game is to reach the center of the maze without letting the ball fall through one of the holes on the game's plastic cover.
あなぼこ迷路めいろ(ブルー) Anaboko Meiro (Blue)	Hole Maze (Blue)	The game features artwork originating in Mario Kart 8 of Luigi in his Standard Kart, as well as artwork of various items appearing in Mario Kart 8.	The game features an inverted version of the color scheme of Anaboko Meiro (Red). Like said game, Anaboko Meiro (Blue) features artwork of Luigi in his Standard Kart in the center of the playing field, in addition to artwork of various items appearing in Mario Kart 8 surrounding him. The object of the game is to reach the center of the maze without letting the ball fall through one of the holes on the game's plastic cover. Each piece of artwork is placed in a different location than it was in Anaboko Meiro (Red). For instance, a much larger gap is now present over the top of Luigi, though other items are now much closer to the top left corner of the playing field.
