Super Mario Kart: Yūshō wa dare? is one of three jigsaw puzzles themed after Super Mario Kart released in the 1990s by Apollo as part of the Kodomo no tame no Jigsaw Puzzle series. The puzzle features artwork of all eight playable characters in Super Mario Kart in addition to Lakitu overlaid onto a background depicting a red-and-yellow-patterned checkered flag. Mario's artwork appears to be edited to remove the checkered flag in his hand. The puzzle has the second-fewest amount of pieces out of the three puzzles at 70 pieces, with Super Mario Kart: Checkered Flag having the fewest at 40 and Super Mario Kart: Gekisō! Mario Kart having the most at 96. The puzzle has a finished size of 375 x 260 millimeters, and a product number of 08-04.
