"Ghost Valley"[1] is a musical theme composed by Soyo Oka for Super Mario Kart, where it plays in Ghost Valley 1, Ghost Valley 2, and Ghost Valley 3. It is an arrangement of "Ghost House BGM" from Super Mario World, but replaces the arrangement of "Ground BGM" with an original melody.

In Mario Kart 64, the theme that plays in Banshee Boardwalk, titled "Banshee Boardwalk" on the Nintendo Music app, incorporates an arrangement of "Ghost Valley" on some strings.
Mario Kart: Super Circuit[edit]
In Mario Kart: Super Circuit, the theme that plays in Boo Lake and Broken Pier incorporates an arrangement of "Ghost Valley" during the intro.
All Ghost Valley courses return as Extra Tracks, which feature a chiptune arrangement of "Ghost Valley".

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe[edit]
In Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, as part of Wave 3 of the Booster Course Pass, an arrangement of Mario Kart Tour's version of Boo Lake's and Broken Pier's theme, plays in GBA Boo Lake, titled "GBA Boo Lake" on the Nintendo Music app. A looping drum set beat is layed on top of the instrumentation whenever the player is driving at top speed while in first place.

In Mario Kart World, an arrangement of "Ghost Valley" can play during the route from Boo Cinema to Dry Bones Burnout in Grand Prix, and any route in VS Race.
