"Starview Peak"[1] is a musical theme in Mario Kart World, where it plays when racing on the course of the same name. It features heavy string and synthesizer instrumentation and incorporates a quote of "Rosalina in the Observatory" from Super Mario Galaxy.

In Knockout Tour, leaving Starview Peak causes the music to transition into a coda.

Mario Kart World marks the first appearance of "Starview Peak". A simple, transitional arrangement of the theme plays when approaching the track from a route before reaching the course's finish line. It is titled "Starview Peak (Intro)" in the Nintendo Music app. An arrangement of "Starview Peak (Intro)" is incorporated into "Opening (Star Cup)" and plays during the intro cutscene for the Star Cup when the course and DK Pass are being shown.

When driving in the water section of the course, an arpeggio and additional synthesizer are added to the theme.

In Knockout Tour, when approaching the next checkpoint, an outro arrangement plays. If the players reach the area near the checkpoint when the theme is near the end, the outro is preceded by a variation of the last section of the normal theme, with higher violin notes and a different bass melody.

A smooth jazz arrangement of "Starview Peak" is incorporated 2 minutes and 36 seconds into "Staff Credits", which plays during the game's staff credits and is a medley of various themes from the game.
